Is the board clock off for anyone else? I have it set for GMT (like my laptop), and the GL is an hour behind.

Are you sure you got the daylight savings thingie right?
We've had some problems with it on another board, it's possible it's synchornising itself to a wrong time. So, if you're sure about the time zone + adjustments, I'll look into it.

I set mine an hour off as well, I am generally 5 hours off GMT (EST) and have the board set for 4 hours . I assumed it had something to do with daylight savings time (EDT) (from finally getting around to reading the FAQ). If it did not change in October, I was going to mention it.

BTW: The board is an hour behind again.

I don't think it changed in October, everyone else's clock did though. Or, should I change to EDT (GMT -4)

I had to reset mine because of Daylight savings. It's fine now.

Sidenote: The Europeens start their DLST a week before the North Americans do (out of those who actually use it).

It looks right to me; I'm in Pacific Daylight Time, which is seven hours behind GMT, and the time shown on index.php is seven hours ahead of the time on my watch.

GL is an hour behind for me also. Thing is, obviously we have other perfectly functional clocks around to be able to notice there's a difference, so what's the big deal? Ecstatic Happiness

This is kind of related:

First off, what version of PHP do we have? At least 5.1.0?

If not, never mind. If we do, then why doesn't the "e" for the timezone work? http://us2.php.net/date says it should.

phpBB is a Bulletin Board written in a programming language called PHP. So, the version of the board (which you are not supposed to reveal, by the way, which is why it's only found on the admin control panel and not on the bottom of regular pages) is irrelevant.
To answer the original question, I'll have to check with pair and get back to you.
