Okay, mudbuck is hosting a Comic RAF in VG. I signed up and posted a pic of the Silver Surfer and Iceman (I hadn't decided yet), and then he complained about complicated pictures. So, I suggested Megaman instead. After doing that, I decided to go look for a pic for him to use. I went to Yahoo! and typed in 'Megaman pics'. It gave me a link at the top of the screen that said "Images: find Megaman pics on Yahoo! Image Search". Well, that's how I had found the other pictures, so I clicked on it. Lo and behold, there is lesbian anime porn. I won't say any more, except that I can't believe it has come down to that. That is sick and twisted.

I've never come across anime porn. I've had adult porn pop-ups, and I heard about some lawsuits against kiddie porn, but anime?? That really surprises me, and even more so because i know that there are people that look at that sort of thing. That just grosses me out and shows me just how far the world sunk morally.

And needless to say, I didn't find a Megaman pic that was suitable.

Okay, in regards to why it grosses me out, it's not real. Like regular porn is more real because someone actually did that stuff (not in all instances), but anime is just drawings and fantasy. Now, real porn is only real in the sense that it pretty much had to happen at some point in time (again, not in all instances), it's not real in the fact that the guy/girl looking at it is going to get some of that. In that sense, it too is a fantasy. Anime porn, to me, is like trying to do a doll or something.

Now, in regards to the lesbian stuff, that doesn't necessarily gross me out. I mean, people choose that lifestyle, and it arouses guys. So, I'm not as grossed out about that as I would be if it were two guys. Two guys would gross me out because I'm a guy and to me that's...yeah. I'm not saying that I think either is right, but one grosses me out more than the other.

Sex, yes, gooood thing, but for me, only within the bonds of marriage. That's just a moral issue, which we won't go into here, but if you want to do it, then it's your choice. Someday, I'll be married, and I'll enjoy having sex with my wife, but for now, I won't.

Vinny, I do know about some of the darker fetishes, mainly bukkake. That was gross, but i guess it floats there boats.

Anyway, it still appalls me, but maybe it was just the shock of actually seeing it. Like I started Amarillo High recently and I've always known that there were under-age kids that some how got hold of some cigarrettes and smoked, but I'd never seen it. Then, the other day, i saw a pack in this girl's purse (no I wasn't digging through it or anything, it was laying open on her desk), and I was just like wow. To top it off, this other girl was talking to her about brands and lighters. It's just the initial shock I guess, that people would actually participate in some of this awful stuff, IMO.

It's just an image. People are used to pretending images are reality. People immerse themselves in movies, TV, video games, even books. Why should pornography be any different?

I can kinda see where Jedo is coming from as far as the cartoon thing being weird is concerned... but I don't know that I can exactly say why. I have seen porn (oh, don't look so surprised. There's a difference between "seeing" and "watching", and unless it's completely disturbing I find it quite amusing. Couldn't say why), in both anime and "human" form, and I have to say that I do find the anime form kinda... weird. Maybe it's the fact that there's the whole tentacle rape thing going on, which is kinda twisted. Or maybe it's the fact that these drawings, well, they *aren't* real people, as much as they may or may not resemble them... if nothing else it's presenting a rather idealised version of the human form, which can never be good. or maybe it's the fact that in anime porn, at least what I'd seen of it - and I admit my experience is somewhat... limited - the girls never seem to be older than maybe sixteen. if that.

Not really sure where this was going... just wanted to say that jedo's not the only one who thinks it's weird. That doesn't mean to say that I'd rather see more "real" porn out there as opposed to the cartoon version, just that I can't see what people could find titillating about a drawing. At least "real" porn is good for a laugh.
