If you have a degree in a Mathematical field (i.e. Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, etc.) then you might be able to trace your degree's genealogy by checking your advisor's advisor's advisor etc.

This guy, for instance was advised by Klaus Hulek, who was advised by (WWAB) Wolf Barth WWAB Hans Grauert WWAB Beno Eckmann WWAB Heinz Hopf WWAB Erhard Schmidt WWAB David Hilbert WWAB Carl Louis Ferdinand Lindemann WWAB Christian Felix Klein WWAB Rudolf Otto Sigismund Lipschitz WWAB Gustav Peter Lejeune Dirichlet WWAB Jean-Baptiste Joseph Fourier WWAB Joseph Louis Lagrange WWAB Leonhard Euler WWAB Johann Bernoulli WWAB Jacob Bernoulli WWAB Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz WWAB Erhard Weigel.

There wasn't enough info in the database yet for me to trace mine. YMMV
Anyway the homa page is http://www.genealogy.ams.org/ I hope you have more luck.

But it was the one that I found. I started with Euler and tracked in both directions until I reached the end.

I never finished my dissertation, but my advisor's advisor was Raymond Smullyan, whose advisor was Alonzo Church, and in their ancestry is Joseph Lagrange, Leonhard Euler, Johann and Jacob Bernouulli, and Gottfried Leibniz.

Was that for a doctorate or a bachelors?
