Happy New Year!

As I mentioned last update, there won't be a new puzzle up until 2000, but I felt the need to post an end of year update anyway, with a state-of-the-Labyrinth address.

In the past year the site has undergone a face lift, with a number of new features added at the request of our visitors. The biggest new feature is, of course, our Discussion Forums. There are a lot of great posts in there, and I think the content provided by our visitors is the biggest enhancement of the site to date.

You may notice that the "Fase" link to the left now points straight to the forum instead of the feedback forum. I know changing an icon is bad UI, but it really is more appropriate to Forum, which is a more popular feature anyway. To give direct feedback, use the "Contact Us" link now at the bottom of every page.

The big news of the week is a brand new feature: visitor ranking of the puzzles. Now you can rate your preference for a previous puzzle. At the bottom of each puzzle's answer page is a ballot where you can rate the puzzle on a scale from 1 to 5. This will give me direct feedback as to what kinds of puzzles are most and least popular. I custom wrote the feature over the holiday weekend, so there may still be some bugs. Let me know if any pop up.
