I scored perfect, but their questions are very poorly phrased.

I'm actually annoyed about "there is no gravity in deep space" - what's deep space? If you go far enough from all mass, the gravity you feel might be infinitely small, but does it still "exist"?
evidence about extraterrestrial life - well, see "Nevermore"?
What's a "reasonable time span"?
etc.

I suppose those didn't bother me as much... I'm used to professors asking vague-as-hell questions. I still don't like those terms though... like 'evidence.' There _is_ evidence that life exists beyond our planet, but it being convincing evidence is another story.

"1. We have strong evidence that our solar system is not the only one; we know there are many other suns with planets orbiting them."

But... isn't ours the only SOLar system?

I got this one right, but only because I geussed they'd have the answer I think is incorrect: "The basic premise of teleportation - made famous in TV's "Star Trek" - is theoretically sound. In fact, scientists have already "teleported" the quantum state of individual atoms from one location to another."

Yeah, the second sentence is true. But "the basic premise of teleportation", to me, means actually making it work to teleport whole objects. Their answer includes:
"More recently, physicists ... teleported information between atoms using the principle of quantum entanglement. Experts say this technology eventually could enable the invention of superfast "quantum computers." But the bad news, at least for sci-fi fans, is that experts don't foresee being able to teleport people in this manner."

So what does any of that have to do with "the basic premise of teleportation", as made famous in Star Trek?

I agree - thought that question was a trick of sorts and got it right.

I scored perfect as well. Probably just because of all of my Star Wars reading. Revenge most foul!

I don't see questions anywhere on the page. Is this part of the test? To find them? Revenge most foul!
