They don't work for version 0.9.1 either. I'd hazard they don't work on Firefox in general.

The chess tag looks great. I found a couple minor things when I moved our current games into the chess tag: it seems to be having a problem with checks, and when Jedo used lower case o-o for castling.

I get errors on these:
<chess]e4 f5 Qh5[/chess>
<chess]e4 f5 Qh5+[/chess>
<chess]f4 e5 g4 Qh4[/chess>
<chess]f4 e5 g4 Qh4#[/chess>

However my game with Jedo worked ok when I took out the + sign for the check. The following fails, but works if I change Qxe5+ to Qxe5.

<chess]e4 c5 Nf3 Nc6 d4 cxd4 Nxd4 Nf6 Nc3 e6 Nxc6 bxc6 e5 Nd5 Nxd5 cxd5 Qf3 Qc7 c3 Qxe5+ Be2 Ba6 Be3 Bxe2 Qxe2 a6 f4 Qc7 O-O Bd6[/chess>

Other than that my only suggestion is that the move list might be better placed on the right side of the board rather than below it.

replace %5C with / in the URL and it'll work on Mozilla. Down with nonstandard IE crap!

%5c? Hmm. I'll look.

Yes, I forgot to implement any of the notations ! ? !? ?! + # etc will not work until I do so. I'll try to do that tonight.

I'll make castling case insensitive.

<chess]e4 f5 qh5[/chess> indeed fails, but I see no reason why it should. I'll investigate this tonight. Maybe the queen can't move to H in JEEP rules Chess. Wink

Movelist on the right is a good idea. I'll do that.

Diplomacy: Mole mentioned it and I just might do it. But if mith is going to, then I'll hold off.

Depends on the ruleset you are using. There are 6 major rulesets (the major differences are in the scoring.

Someone point out where the %5cs are. All my IMG tags are using / and not \ (which is 5C).

-JEEP

nm found it... I used / in the mafiascum code and \\ in the greylab code. I forgot I had to tweak it a bit.

works. This is why developers shouldn't test their own code, I didn't make any typos. Also if there is a space before the close tag, there is an error. *sigh*

Qxh1 still messes it up. I think Queens are not allowed on H Wink

and.. what Neo just said. It probably has something to do with the deliberate Chess tag exploitation.

BTW, looking at the go boards in my post, I'm getting some insights into how jeep's getting the go tags to work...

When I click on the link that mith gives above all I see is an opening board setup. Is it supposed to look like that? I can't edit, so I can't see what's inside the post, but mith's statement implies there's action.

Also, when I clicked on quote (to try and see what's inside) I got a message stating that only Moderators can post in the thread.
First, bravo on the post restriction (including mods). Nicely done.
But Second, shouldn't it say "players" or somesuch instead of moderators?

The boards are not *supposed* to be in start position, but they are for some reason. Those of us who can edit them see the correct chess tags, and a list of moves, but the boards themselves have ceased to function.

If it needs to look some other way, I can do that too. And it's fine if the playlist is under the board. If there's any way to align the columns, that would be great, but if it's too much trouble then don't worry about it.
