And now we come upon the pair of Indiana Jones movies. This one takes on Michael J Fox and Back to the Future.

Back to the Future trilogy, all together, wasn't half bad, but Part 1 alone didn't stand out. Raiders of the Lost Ark is a timeless classic.

Back to the future - great stuff. I found the first two IJ movies rather average (this one better than ToD though), but the third one is my favourite movie.

Not a good sign for Raiders. Last Crusade hasn't lost a step. If both advance, it looks like Last Crusade will take it easily.

Drat, I had thought that might be a really good match.

Hmm... tough. Lost Ark isn't my favorite Indiana Jones, but it's been a while since I've seen BttF.

WOW!

I have a great respect for Michael and the BttF movies, but Indie takes the cake.

*gives cake to Indiana Jones*

I ended up going roughly with what DP said... though I do think Raiders was quite good.

Since I only joined this at round 2... this is the first one I haven't been able to vote on. Not because I haven't seen them both, but because I simply can't decide. My usual test for things like this is that if I turn on the TV and a movie is in the middle, will I stop and watch it to the end regardless of how many times I have seen it. Both these films pass that test with flying colours. They even work as stand-alone films which aren't diminished by their sequels. Urgh.

What if they were both at the same time on two different channels (assuming you don't have neither two TVs alongside each other nor PiP)? Does that help you decide? Revenge most foul!

I think he would implode. Or maybe explode.

Depending on whether he's filled with hydrogen or helium.

And also depending on whether or not he's on fire at said time.

Wow, this is sounding pretty good...

<g> Thanks a bundle. It would probably end up coming down to which channel they were on. Here in the UK, our systems tend to default to a particular order: two BBC channels, then ITV (the original commercial channel) and then two more which are called "Channel 4" and "five" since no-one on the "name a TV channel" committee had any imagination.

So the answer would be whichever of them was showing on BBC1 Revenge most foul! Or I would, indeed, explode. Or implode. Whatever.
