While 1984 is probably deeper and more relevent, it was just too heavy for me to really enjoy.

On the other hand, Animal Farm is light enough to be read in a single sitting and still interesting enough to call you back time and again.

dethy, you couldn't read 1984 in one sitting? Razz Me neither. It took two sittings. Wink

Anyway, I enjoyed 1984 because it was deep and thought-provoking. Animal Farm was good too, but I thought it was a bit more bizarre. Both enjoyable, just 1984 over AF.
