This was the most appropriate thread I could find.

Since Hy upgraded GLpics, it isn't allowing me to log in, giving a message something like "the user information could not be found". My glpics account itself is still intact, I can access all pictures, etc. It just won't let me log in to actually manage the account.

Is anyone else having a similar problem?

It isn't manual- just the accounts have to be verified so random Joe doesn't overload the server. This time glpics is being used almost entirely by GLers

I have no problems with non-GLers using glpics. I have no problem with ex GLers using glpics.

A little secret about the hy...

I'm a bit OCD about file structure... Having some random person sign up fifty accounts just so he can override my limit of one meg... Yeah... that keeps me up at night twitching.

I had to impose the limit to keep Joe Random from using up the space on glpics. I'm not making any money from the site, so, yeah.

If you have friends who need space, just let me know. I have no problems with people using the space, I just want it to be (to some extent) invite only. *nudge*

Hello all...I’m not exactly a regular on the GL anymore due to time constraints, but I still lurk from time to time and was actually going to post a VSP puzzle today using an image, when I noticed that I couldn’t get into glpics anymore. I was hoping to have my glpics account reinstated.

The host or server or some technical thing was changed. Go to www.glpics.com and register again. Use the same e-mail as you use for the GL. It might also be helpful to send Hy a PM telling him you reregistered -- I don't know if there's still stuff he has to do.

Try the CHMOD button. The average person looking at your account will be in the "world" group, so allow read and execute permissions of the directory and files. That is, if you are using chmod.
