Now I understand. You are going through some kind of "rebellion" stage in your life.... separating from parental influence. I struggled with that for a while myself. Listen, your mom is a wonderful person. That woman sacrificed and worked hard for you, and the least you could do is find ONE measley issue to agree with her on. Is that asking too much? Think what it would mean to her. |
Uhhh...you're joking right? _________________ And he lived happily ever after. Except for the dieing at the end and the heartbreak in between. |

| You don't think your mom is a wonderful person? What a bad son. |

| Yes, I was joking..... and even though she's critical of me, I'm sure she is a wonderful person. |

*sigh*
We get along great and I speak with her several times a month. We agree on a lot of things but disagree on others.
She doesn't have any persuasive arguments regarding the war, she knows less about it than I do. And whenever we've discussed it she admits that her objection is more on an emotional level.
On other things, like abortion, she's very convincing. _________________ And he lived happily ever after. Except for the dieing at the end and the heartbreak in between. |

Ok, I couldn't tell. Either you need to practice writing humor, or I need to practice reading it. _________________ And he lived happily ever after. Except for the dieing at the end and the heartbreak in between. |

Samadhi, can you get your mom to post? I'd like to hear her view on the war (emotional or otherwise).
And on the other issue, is she pro-choice or pro-life?

| At least they went to the effort to create an interesting screen name, gotta at least give them credit for that. (Thinking up clever names is a lot of work) |
